I may be wrong, but could they not print money by doubling or tripling the polyphony of the OG microkorg, putting it into one of their newer cases with their superior keybeds, and selling it? What is the hold up? Have they lost the original code or no longer understand it? Does the compilation toolchain no longer run on current OS’s? Just seem like a no-brainer to me. If there are no clicks on the larger devices digital engines, perhaps they make sure to run everything through the necessary transient and dc filters (software or hardware, i don’t know).
